At the regular 6 October close on the Budapest Stock Exchange, the BUX rose 1.28% to 143,682.55 on equity turnover of HUF 32.5 billion. OTP gained 1.89% to HUF 41,470, MOL 1.51% to HUF 5,055 and Richter 0.57% to HUF 12,370, while Magyar Telekom fell 0.23% to HUF 2,572. The final Hungarian figures were reported by a close summary based on BSE data; the delayed intraday BSE screen was not treated as a closing price.
In Europe, the DAX gained 0.77% to 25,449.19, the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.48% to 6,272.23, the CAC 40 advanced 0.40% to 7,865.07 and the FTSE 100 climbed 0.42% to 10,541.69. The official pages of Deutsche Börse and Euronext were also checked.
Wall Street and the next marker
The S&P 500 rose 0.58% to 7,818.93, the Nasdaq Composite 0.45% to 27,599.79 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average 0.49% to 51,521.28. The Associated Press close summary reported records for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite. On its energy needs, Google said it aimed at “meeting our growth responsibly”; the 890-megawatt nuclear expansion agreement helped Constellation shares.
