Financial income lifts Prohuman first-half profit

Net sales reached HUF 25.660 billion, up 8.2%; profit after tax was HUF 2.905 billion, 137.2% above the year-earlier figure.

According to Prohuman Zrt.’s separate IFRS statements for the first half of 2026, net sales increased to HUF 25.660 billion from HUF 23.726 billion, a rise of 8.2%. Operating profit fell to HUF 1.277 billion from HUF 1.664 billion, a 23.3% decline. EBITDA decreased to HUF 1.511 billion from HUF 1.895 billion, down 20.3%. Our calculation shows that the operating margin narrowed to 5.0% from 7.0%.

Profit after tax, by contrast, rose to HUF 2.905 billion from HUF 1.225 billion, an increase of 137.2%. The change was mainly explained by financial profit of HUF 2.192 billion, up from HUF 0.180 billion; the cash-flow statement includes HUF 3.159 billion of dividends received.

Operating cash flow turned into a HUF 1.589 billion outflow from a HUF 1.585 billion inflow a year earlier. Trade receivables increased by HUF 3.421 billion since year-end, while short-term loans rose to HUF 6.601 billion from HUF 4.443 billion.
