  1. The EU Council and Parliament reached a provisional deal on securitisation rules. Lower capital requirements may apply to selected safe transactions, but final legal texts and formal endorsement are still pending.

  2. The Council’s new negotiating mandate would simplify the digital rulebook. Cookie, GDPR and cyber-incident reporting rules could change after the European Parliament adopts its own position.

  3. The Council proposes an annual one-tonne threshold for small packaging producers. The relief concerns the appointment of a representative in another member state; current obligations remain unchanged for now.

  4. Libya’s House of Representatives ratified the 2019 maritime memorandum with Türkiye, while the EU and Greece dispute its legal effect. The next development may come through diplomatic or legal action by the parties.

  5. Yesterday’s Deutsche Börse analysis examined the third-quarter margin and higher full-year target. The background article, supported by sourced charts, remains our latest complete market analysis.

Details are available in the five linked articles and in the Council’s official releases.
