Hungarian budget data, divergent market closes, a new cybersecurity model and a sanctions decision set the starting point for Friday.

  1. The first-half deficit jumped. KSH says Hungary's general government deficit reached 6.2% of GDP because expenditure grew much faster than revenue. Our detailed economic report explains the main items and Hungary's financing risk.
