Gemini gains whole-presentation editing in Google Slides

Google’s product announcement of 30 October says Gemini can now be used to modify whole presentations or multiple slides together in Google Slides. The gradual rollout began on 29 October and may take longer than fifteen days; it initially supports use in English.

Hungarian business users therefore need two separate checks: whether the feature is available under their subscription, and whether the initial language limitation suits their workflow. The announcement does not establish comprehensive Hungarian-language operation or access for every account.

According to Google, the output consists of Slides’ native editable elements. A practical benefit could be the ability to correct a suggested change manually later, but checking corporate data, names and charts remains the document creator’s responsibility. Editability and factual accuracy are two distinct quality criteria.

The development sits alongside Google’s earlier work-agent announcement. The EDPB consultation on artificial intelligence and web scraping provides related data-handling context.

The next substantive step is to check whether the feature appears in the organisation’s account and to verify its access conditions. We make no claim of an independent product test or measured time savings; the capability described is the provider’s announcement, and the rollout may still be in progress.
