Thailand's cabinet approved two special civil-service holidays on 27 September because of heavy rain in Bangkok and three neighbouring provinces, Reuters reported.
According to The Nation, the Stock Exchange of Thailand will operate normally on Monday, with securities-depository counter services also remaining open.
The government holiday therefore does not automatically mean a trading closure. Monday's operating plan does not, by itself, establish Tuesday's arrangements, which require separate confirmation.
