BSE opens after MOL drop, with PCE data due later

The BUX starts from 147,128.86 points after a 1.36% decline; all four large shares fell, while US GDP and PCE data are due at 14:30.

The BSE trading timetable says opening-auction order collection starts at 08:30 and price determination begins at 09:00. 30 September 2026 is a regular trading day; this check was completed before the open.

The previous market close put the BUX at 147,128.86 points, down 1.36%. OTP fell 0.68% to HUF 43,800, MOL declined 3.44% to HUF 5,050, Richter lost 0.56% to HUF 12,330, and Magyar Telekom slipped 0.78% to HUF 2,540.

Wall Street also moved lower: the S&P 500 fell 0.17% to 7,670.84 points, the Dow Jones lost 0.26% to 51,349.92, and the Nasdaq Composite eased 0.08% to 26,797.54.

The ECB reference data for 29 September showed EUR/HUF at 366.38 and a calculated USD/HUF value of 322.66. These are daily reference values, not live quotes.

By the check time, the BSE issuer list had no new 30 September notice concerning OTP, MOL, Richter or Magyar Telekom. Licensed, current Asian or European pre-open price data were unavailable.

After our morning roundup, the next scheduled data point is 14:30: the BEA calendar lists the third US GDP estimate and August PCE. For Hungarian investors, the response in dollar yields and the forint may matter.
