The BLS calendar schedules the August JOLTS report for 2026-09-29 at 10:00 in New York and 16:00 in Budapest. Forint exposure also matters

What to watch when the figures arrive
Editorial interpretation: a strong or weak headline figure alone does not determine the stock market’s direction. New figures need to be read alongside any revisions to earlier data. For a dollar-denominated investment, both the share price and the exchange rate can contribute to changes in its forint value.
An explanation based on interest-rate expectations would be weakened if bond yields did not move in the assumed direction; even co-movement would not, by itself, establish causation. The next checkpoint is the actual release and the observable market response. Without verified consensus data, this preview provides neither a numerical forecast nor a buy signal.
