The Ministry for Rural and Regional Development has published a transparency search tool covering participants in EU-funded projects. According to the government announcement of 18 October, it links project locations, beneficiaries and suppliers. For Hungarian businesses, this can make a development’s commercial environment easier to examine.
The announcement identifies projects under the Széchenyi Terv Plusz 2021–2027 period; daily updating is information supplied by the ministry. We report the tool’s publication, without separately verifying the completeness of individual project records or whether payments have been made. Awarding support, signing a contract and completing delivery are distinct business stages.
A supplier could usefully match the beneficiary and location against its own partner records. Alongside a search result, recording the query date and project identifier would help, followed by checking contractual information against the appropriate document. Participation listed for one project does not establish that further orders will follow.
Our articles on investment screening and development financing offer background on interpreting other institutional information. The next practical question is how a specific result matches the relevant contract and delivery records.
