AI transparency is now a business issue in Europe

New requirements affect chatbots and artificially generated content.

New EU transparency requirements apply from 2 August. Interactive systems covered by the rules must tell people when they are communicating with artificial intelligence.

The Commission also highlights labels for deepfakes and machine-readable markings. The detailed requirements must be considered in the context of each specific use.
